(i)For reservations of up to seven (7) nights a deposit equivalent in value to one (1) night's accommodation is payable at the time of making your reservation.
(ii)For reservations of eight (8) nights or more a deposit of 20% of the total accommodation charge is payable at the time of making your reservation.
(iii)All deposits must be paid by a valid credit or debit card registered in the name of the individual making the reservation.
2. CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS& REFUNDS
(i)Cancellations up to seven (7) days prior to the date of arrival will be eligible for a full refund of the deposit paid.
(ii)Cancellations between seven (7) days and 24 hours prior to the date of arrival will be eligible for a refund of the deposit paid less a Â£10.00 administration charge.
(iii)Transfers to an alternative future date made between seven (7) days and 24 hours prior to the date of arrival of the original reservation will be considered subject to availability and in the event of transferring a Â£10.00 administration charge will be payable.
(iv)Cancellations made within 24 hours of the date of arrival, or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund of any deposit paid.
3. METHODS OF PAYMENT
(i)We are pleased to accept payment of balances of accounts by the means of debit or credit card. It is required that a valid credit or debit card be presented during check-in.
(ii)Payment of balances of accounts by cash will only be accepted by prior arrangement with the General Manager.
(iii)For corporate customers payment of balances of accounts by invoice may be arranged with prior agreement with the General Manager.
(iv)We are unable to accept payment in any other currency apart from pounds sterling (GBP).
(v)We do not accept payment by cheque.
(vi)We do not accept any booking either at time of making the reservation or check in if a valid debit or credit card is not presented, unless by prior arrangement of the General Manager.
4. PAYMENT OF BALANCES
All balance of accounts must be paid prior to departure. Payment of balances not paid upon departure will be charged to the credit / debit card provided during check-in. An itemised receipt for such will be forwarded to you by post to the address provided on your hotel registration document.
5. GROUP BOOKINGS
We do not accept bookings for groups of multiple rooms for any duration of stay without the prior agreement of the General Manager. We will however always consider all booking types. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such booking that is not in accordance with this policy.
6. DAMAGE TO THE BEACHFIELDPROPERTY
Any damage to The Beachfield property, fixtures and fittings must be paid for to the equivalent cost of replacement or repair in full prior to departure from the property. Any such payments not made prior to departure will be charged to the credit / debit card provided during check-in. An itemised receipt for such will be forwarded to you by post to the address provided on your accommodation registration document. In accordance with United Kingdom law smoking is prohibited within the accommodation, in the event that smoking has taken place in any room a cleaning charge of Â£50.00 will be made.
7. PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND VALUABLES
The Beachfield does not accept liability for loss or damage to personal belongings and valuables of customers.
We strongly advise that guests should not leave personal belongings of a valuable nature unattended on the premises at anytime.Such items may be deposited in the General Managers safe by arrangement with and at the discretion of the General Management only.
We are happy to consider complaints concerning any aspect of your stay and experience at The Beachfield. We ask that any such matters are brought to our attention at the earliest opportunity during your stay with a member of staff or the General Manager directly in order to allow us the opportunity to rectify where is reasonably possible any issues.
